WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) today released the following statement on the passing of Kansas State Representative Les Mason:

“Les was a businessman, volunteer, leader and friend. He was a strong advocate for central Kansas and was committed to helping his community and state succeed by serving in the Kansas State Legislature and local organizations. Through his entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to serve others, Les created job opportunities and contributed to the success of McPherson. He was loved by many and will be missed.

“Robba and I are saddened by the news of his passing and are praying for his wife, Victoria, his three children and the entire Mason family.”
