WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) today released the following statement on the passing of Kansas rancher and businessman Bill Haw:

"Bill was a rancher, entrepreneur and developer whose leadership and influence shaped major parts of Kansas City and the Flint Hills. I worked with Bill during my time in Congress, and his support for the cattle industry and love of the beauty of the Flint Hills reflected his care for people and his state. He was a great contributor to the agriculture, small business and economic industries across Kansas. He will be greatly missed. Robba and I are praying for the Haw family during this time.”
