Moran delivered the Western Caucus' Weekly Address the week of December 19, 2011 to share his grave concerns over proposed rules that would ban youth under the age of 16 from participating in many common farm-related tasks, like rounding up cattle on horseback, operating a tractor or cleaning out stalls with a shovel and wheelbarrow.
