WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) issued the following statement today upon learning of the death of Ron Bramlage, his wife Rebecca, and children, Brandon, 15; Boston, 13; Beau, 11; and Roxanne, 8. The Bramlage family was traveling back to Kansas on Thursday when their single-engine turboprop passenger plane crashed in central Florida.

“My heart goes out to the entire Bramlage family during this difficult time,” said Sen. Moran. “Ron was a devoted husband and father, and both he and his wife Rebecca were well known in the Junction City community for their generous spirit. Ron, Rebecca and their children were role models in the community and will be greatly missed. I ask all Kansans to join me in keeping their family and friends in their thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.”
