WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) spoke on the Senate Floor this week to call for an outside investigative review of the Federal Reserve’s response to the Silicon Valley Bank failure and subsequent bank failures.

“It is critical that faith be restored in our nations’ banks and their regulators,” said Sen. Moran. “But before policy makers clamor to write stricter banking regulations, an independent review board should be appointed to thoroughly probe the failure of Silicon Valley Bank and the response of the Federal Reserve.”
